  4.   Welcome to the AutoTide software package  from  Linden Software
  5.      
  6.   This  package  contains  AutoTide, the first Windows Tidal Predition 
  7.   Program.
  8.   
  9.   This package contains an automated installation utility, and  interactive  
  10.   on-line help.  It should be noted that registered users of AutoTide receive
  11.   the full retail version of AutoTide which contains everything in this 
  12.   shareware version PLUS the full tidal data bases for the countries or areas       
  13.   ordered
  14.   
  15.   The following information will guide  you  through  installing  the  
  16.   AutoTide files.   Once installed, the INSTALL program will create a 
  17.   program group and install icons for the documentation files,  which you 
  18.   can read by clicking on the document's icon.

  24.   This shareware version of AutoTide should contain the fillowing files:

  26.   SYSTEM.SHR
  27.   FILE_ID.DIZ
  28.   AUTOTIDE.SHR
  29.   INSTALL.EXE
  30.   INSTALL.CFG
  31.   DATA.SHR
  32.   README.TXT

  34.   Please contact the publishers or agents listed below should any of these
  35.   file be missing
  36.                 
  37.                            INSTALLING AUTOTIDE
  38.                            -------------------
  39.                           
  40.   From Program Manager's main window, select "File".  This will cause a menu
  41.   to drop down.  Next, select "Run...".  A dialog box will pop up requesting
  42.   a "Command Line".
  43.   
  44.   If  the  AutoTide files are on a floppy disk, insert the diskette into 
  45.   the A: or B: drive,  as  appropriate  and  type  either "A:\INSTALL" or 
  46.   "B:\INSTALL", respectively.  We must execute the "INSTALL" program 
  47.   located on  the disk.

  49.   If  the  AutoTide  files  are  in a directory on a hard drive, enter the 
  50.   full drive and directory path to  where  the  AutoTide files are located, 
  51.   such as:"C:\DOWNLOAD\TEMP\INSTALL".  Please note  that  these  are  just  
  52.   samples --  subsititue the proper drive and directory, as appropriate.

  54.   After entering the command to execute INSTALL, press the ENTER key or  
  55.   click on the "OK" button.  At this point SETUP will handle the entire 
  56.   process of installing the AutoTide files.
